Saturday, August 16th 11:00am-1:30pm CST
Join Master Silk Painter, Laura Fox-Wallis, for a three-session workshop designed to deepen your understanding of color mixing and application on silk. Over three Saturdays, you’ll learn how to confidently mix colors using the double color wheel, create both vibrant and muted tones, and apply color intentionally to bring harmony, depth, and movement to your artwork.
Week 1: Unlock the power of the double color wheel—learn how to mix vibrant, dull, warm, and cool hues with precision.
Week 2: Discover how to use value and intensity to build depth and form, making your subjects come alive.
Week 3: Explore layering and application techniques to create visual harmony and contrast, and learn how to mix the perfect color combinations for your own painting.
Through guided exercises and hands-on practice, you’ll build a strong foundation in color theory and leave with the tools to make confident, expressive color choices in your silk work.
Perfect for all skill levels!
